This is an Service Employees Internation Union, Local 24/7, union represented classification currently subject to collective bargaining. This position requires executing routine and emergency alarm station duties with minimal supervision and a moderate level of training, direction, and review of work from a security supervisor, and is responsible for completing security alarm system functions and tasks. Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds, occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds. Applicants must also be able to work any and all shifts and holidays, including overtime, with little-to-no notice. Applicants who move forward in the hiring process will have to travel to the San Luis Obispo area up to three times at their own expenses to interview, and if selected for the position, undergo a post offer, pre-hire physical exam, criminal background check, drug and alcohol test and psychological screening test required by the NRC.
