Are you looking to join a growing engineering consulting firm that offers valuable solutions to challenges faced by gas and electric utilities? We're seeking New Business Project Managers in Northern California.

What You'll Do

• Strategically manage the project portfolio by optimizing schedules, controlling scope, managing budgets, and partnering with stakeholders to meet timelines and deliverables.
• Provide project leadership, collaborate with contractor stakeholders, and coordinate with government agencies and community parties.
• Develop and control project scope, schedules, work plans, and adjust as necessary.
• Travel to project sites for inspections and coordination.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure timely project completion.
• Monitor and analyze project costs to minimize expenses.
• Communicate project status to all stakeholders.
• Prepare contracts to ensure compliance.
• Provide complete and accurate information to teams regarding costs, timelines, and regulations.
• Set reasonable estimates and schedules for customers.

This is a hybrid role requiring site visits in multiple locations in California and occasional client office visits. We are building a talent pipeline for future opportunities, so while there may not be an immediate opening, we are eager to connect with motivated candidates.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Driver's license without restrictions.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or HS diploma/GED with 1+ years of relevant experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in project administration, operations, controls, or management in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lead projects and collaborate across teams.
• Experience managing short-term, high-volume projects.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Customer service experience with conflict resolution skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management.
• PMP Certification.
• Design experience.
• Utilities background (Electric, Gas, Solar).

• Salary: $90,000 - $120,000/year, depending on experience.
