The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining, procuring, receiving, inspecting, and coordinating the effective operational activities of the parts room located at ACI Jet Maintenance while maintaining a positive and productive relationship with ACI Jets employees, vendors, and clients by personally performing these duties under the direction of the Parts Manager. Reports To. The Inventory Specialist reports directly to the Parts Manager. Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities. Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned as required by management)Maintain accurate inventory of parts, materials, and supplies. Act as a purchasing agent for parts, materials, and supplies. Conducts daily receiving inspections to properly identify and verify parts and quantities. Inspects aircraft parts for airworthiness and proper documentation. Return rejected parts, materials, and supplies to vendor and comply with necessary processes.
