AWS Cloud Architect with Oracle DBA experience - Fulltime - Remote

Responsibilities

• Extensive experience in migrating Oracle databases to the AWS cloud platform, specifically with AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), AWS Schema Conversion Tool (SCT), and Oracle Database.
• Plan, design, and execute Oracle database migrations to AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Utilize AWS DMS and SCT to convert schema, migrate data, and ensure compatibility with AWS cloud services.
• Develop best practices, documentation, and training materials for Oracle to AWS migration processes.
• Stay current with AWS services, Oracle technologies, and industry trends related to database migration and cloud computing.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle database administration and migration.
• Extensive experience migrating Oracle databases to AWS, with in-depth knowledge of AWS DMS, SCT, and Oracle Database.
• Expertise in AWS cloud services, particularly AWS DMS and SCT.
• Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Terraform (IaC) and AWS Lambda functions.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation and orchestration tasks.
• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Database - Specialty or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are a plus.
