Required:-High school diploma or equivalent.-6 semester units of college coursework in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, or willingness to enroll within 130 days of employment.-Three months experience working or volunteering with preschool-age children in an organized setting. -First Aid and CPR certification (provided by SLOCOE if needed) must be obtained within 130 days of employment. Desired:-6 semester units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.

State Preschools are located in Paso Robles, Atascadero, Grover Beach, Nipomo and Oceano.
