Position Overview
Responsible for source selection and procurement directly associated with non-stock items. Responsible for the timely planning, scheduling of receipt and inventory control of the products and services utilized by the central purchasing system.
This position is remote but needs to be within a commutable distance to Greenwood, SC area.

Job Description
Responsibilities
Manages a corporate purchasing program for non-stock items for appropriate supplies, equipment, materials and services necessary for operation of organization.
Secures and negotiate with vendors and analyzes vendors operations to determine factors that affect prices and determines lowest cost consistent with quality reliability and ability to meet required schedules.
Reviews all requisitions and ensures all orders for goods and services have identifiable data and tax allocation.
Reconciles and enters orders into the appropriate system, expedites orders and processes returns as needed.
Interfaces with A/P to ensure all transactions are posted and reconciled.
Creates purchasing documents which include purchase orders, scheduling agreements, delivery schedules and contracts utilizing SAP.
Monitors vendor performance and recommends necessary action to improve performance including savings and compliance with rules and regulations.
Identifies strategic sourcing methods and makes recommendation to senior management.
Liaisons with departments and divisions to continually review and analyze which goods and service gain the benefit of centralized purchasing for non-stock items
Required Skills/Education
Bachelor's degree and five (5) years procurement experience in buyer role
ERP system
PC skills and appropriate applications
Planning and organizing

MS Office Skills including Word, Excel

Salary and Benefits:
$76,000 - $84,000 depending on experience
