Success in this role will require the ability to cultivate strong trust and influence with Sr. Leadership across the Development Functions areas. This person will be viewed as the business partner that provides strategic direction and is seen as the “go to person” for business financial analysis, insight, and counsel. **Excellent interpersonal skills:** An inquisitive mind, and the ability to work effectively with multiple functions are required. Demonstrates foresight, problem-solving skills, analytical rigor, and a deep understanding of business drivers. Exceptional ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and tailor messaging to diverse audiences. Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain top finance talent; fosters a high-performance culture. **Capabilities and Requirements:** 14+ years of relevant experience with a BA/BS OR 12+ years of relevant experience with an MS/MA or MBA required, and having held positions of increasing scope and responsibility. Prior experience in biotech/pharma and R&D organization is strongly preferred. In-depth proficiency in aspects of accounting and finance and knowledge of US GAAP is required.
