JOB OBJECTIVE: The Director of Strategic Site Operations will serve as the senior-most facilitator and integrator at Promega's PBI site in San Luis Obispo. This role is responsible for coordinating site-wide execution of operational, scientific, and strategic objectives across functions. The Director will lead through influence, facilitation, and accountability rather than direct reporting authority - working across Manufacturing, R&D, Facilities, and Quality to ensure the site operates in alignment with Promega's enterprise vision. Modeled after Promega's facility leaders, this role is expected to ensure business continuity, safety, and infrastructure integrity - while also serving as the local strategic interface for cross-functional execution. Estimated starting salary range is $175,000 - $185,000/yr. The full salary range for this position is $167,426 - $251,140/yr.
