Work Arrangement

In-office or Hybrid-remote Work: Our flexibility extends to your work location. We have office space available if you prefer your own private office, away from the distractions at home. Working in-person allows you to better experience the camaraderie of being in the office. Alternatively, if you prefer to avoid the commute, you can elect to work from home and only come to the office when you elect, provided you have a professional setting for video calls from home and you are available during business hours.

Your Role

Your Role: As a lead attorney with a minimum of 2 years of experience in family law, you'll help clients build their future. You will be expected to lead, direct, and inspire your assigned paralegal according to our core values: Strength, Wisdom, Objectivity, Reputation, & Dependability. Your expertise in drafting legal documents, managing case files, and collaborating with clients and court staff, especially within the Gwinnett County Superior Court system, will be invaluable. You will also delegate tasks to junior associate attorneys, law school students, JD graduates, and possibly high school interns. If you progress along the firm's career path, you will hone your delegation and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft legal documents, perform research, provide advice and work with our paralegals to help clients achieve their goal.
• Attend court hearings and trials, manage files efficiently, collaborate and learn from other attorneys on the team to improve your skills and success.
• Make a difference in the lives of families by using reasoning, empathy, experience, compassion and negotiation skills to work out difficult issues.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of experience in Family Law
• Valid Georgia Bar License
• Strong proficiency in learning about new apps and technology.
