Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) is a rapidly expanding team dedicated to delivering innovative payment solutions for businesses and governments worldwide. By partnering with Financial Institutions and Fintechs, VCS offers core payment products combined with seamless experiences that streamline critical business processes such as expense management, compliance, and AP/AR payments. The goal is to enhance cash flow, productivity, and efficiency for clients. VCS provides tailored products for all business sizes, featuring automated payment processing, expense tracking, and detailed reporting and reconciliation, all within a secure and globally recognized payment network. This empowers businesses to manage finances more effectively, reduce costs, and gain valuable insights into spending patterns.
There is a rapid shift from plastic to digital credentials within the B2B payments ecosystem, mirroring and building upon the same shift within consumer payments over the past decade. We are seeking a senior leader who can navigate ambiguity to identify B2B payment solutions to solve for clients' and partners' business problems and drive opportunities to advance the VCS business.

We are transforming the commercial payments landscape and looking for a dynamic, experienced leader to provide technical solutioning for our clients and FinTech partners in North America, and partner early and often with our Strategy team to solution for new use cases, 5-year strategic objectives, and emerging business opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of B2B payments experts to solution for clients and partners, bringing to life the power of Visa to solve their most pressing business problems and help them realize opportunities in the market.
- Create and develop new solutions and generate momentum for ideas that will move the business forward. This involves anticipating market needs, proactive leadership and engagement on new ideas, and designing innovative solutions that address those needs effectively.
- Work cross-functionally and partner with sales, strategy, product leaders, and regions to understand client and market needs, diagnose problems, and design and deploy fit for purpose, repeatable solutions.
- Develop initial concept and business requirements. Assess buy, build, partner options for capability gaps. Vet business cases for new ideas and act as an ambassador to Global Product as you bring in opportunities for development.
- Liaise with other business units, product leaders, and other relevant groups to ensure flawless execution and alignment of goals.
- Proactively lead on solutions with our VCS Strategy team and other Visa teams outside of VCS.
- Partner early and often with regional teams to understand their strategic goals, define early-stage product requirements, ensure market readiness, and develop comprehensive product strategies across various product teams to meet the increasing demand for payment solutions.
- Work with stakeholders to integrate go-to-market strategies with cohesive solution design and product delivery. Provide strategic, cross-functional leadership to ensure that products are effectively positioned and delivered to support our strategy.
- Demonstrate thought leadership. Deliver a point of view on strategic initiatives and opportunities to position Visa as the industry leader.
- Develop and implement product strategies that align with client needs and the company's vision, ensuring Visa is the “go-to” solution for B2B payments.
- Brainstorm with internal and external teams to develop innovative ideas and potential solutions for co-creation and market differentiation. This includes thinking about Visa's enterprise-wide capabilities and identifying opportunities to augment VCS offerings.

Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: 12+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 10+ years with an Advanced degree, or 5+ years with a PhD.
- Preferred Qualifications: 15+ years with a Bachelor's or 12+ years with an Advanced Degree; 9+ years of experience in Product and Solutioning in B2B payments and commercial solutions; demonstrated thought leadership and measurable business results.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep knowledge of the B2B payments industry and regulatory environment; experience with a diverse payments ecosystem.
- Commercial Acumen: Track record of delivering commercially viable solutions from concept to launch, including monetization strategies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Clients: Client champion with a proven track record of developing and executing a product vision based on customer needs.
- Strategy: Ability to communicate strategy and secure internal investment by delivering results.
- Influence: Proven success influencing senior stakeholders across the globe.
- Collaboration: Natural collaborator with executive presence and strong listening and partnering skills.

U.S. applicants only: the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 213,000 to 332,950 USD per year, which may include incentive payments. Salary may vary based on knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
