We are seeking a visionary leader with deep expertise in the rapidly evolving landscape of low-code platforms to shape Microsoft's business and sales strategy as a Director Business Architect - Power Platform within the AI Business Solutions Go-to-Market (GTM) team. This role will leverage insights into the Power Platform ecosystem—including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio—to guide strategic planning and execution across engineering, field sales, and marketing.

You will build trusted relationships and drive growth by aligning solution plays with customer needs, industry trends, and the transformative impact of AI agents. Your work will empower customers to modernize business processes, unlock productivity, and achieve end-to-end transformation through low-code innovation.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years experience in business consulting, sales, sales operations, information technology (IT), account management, business development, marketing, IT field sales, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years experience in in Near Term Strategy (2 years out), Management Consulting, Sales, or Finance.
  • 3+ experience with selling or implementing or GTM for Power Platform or other Low Code platforms.

Additional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field AND 7+ years marketing, strategy, sales, sales leadership, program management, project management, business planning, consulting, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience OR Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field AND 5+ years marketing, strategy, sales, sales leadership, program management, project management, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience OR equivalent experience.

Sales Strategy Enablement IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.

Responsibilities

Define and Operationalize GTM Strategy

  • Architect and execute the go-to-market strategy for AI-powered business process transformation using Power Platform, with a focus on agentic automation and low-code modernization.
  • Create and evolve sales motions aligned to Power Platform solution plays (e.g., Modernize Intelligent Apps, Agent-Powered Business Processes).
  • Drive increased pipeline, reduce deal friction and increase revenue with incentive structures and models that drive revenue usage, consumption, and transformation outcomes.

Drive Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Engage and influence corporate and field stakeholders to align GTM levers across business model evolution, marketing strategy, product roadmap, and partner strategy.
  • Drive cross functional teams of marketing, customer success, sales, engineering, finance and more to ensure programs land, and messaging and collateral reflect the modern value.
  • Work closely with your GTM team to build and execute successful programs, and enablement.

Innovate and Expand Business and Technical Reach

  • Design new sales motions and strategies to reach underpenetrated accounts and new customer segments, leveraging targeting tools and solution play frameworks.
  • Be the voice of Power Platform to the field, take your passion for Low Code and AI and curiosity to be a problem solves and thought leader in this space that is rapidly evolving.

Measure Success and Course Correct

  • Define success metrics and KPIs to track customer outcomes, usage growth, and transformation impact.
  • Implement feedback loops and course corrections to ensure GTM effectiveness and partner ROI.
