Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of acute care experience and active state licensure for a 13-week assignment.
Responsibilities
- Work in an acute care setting on the Mammography Tech unit
- Position provides mammography imaging services to adult patients
- Day shifts consisting of 8 hour workdays
- Assignment length is 13 weeks
- Candidates may not have been directly employed by facilities associated with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health within the past year; PRN employees through outside firms will be considered
- Orientation includes 12 hours of training
- Scrub or dress code requirements will be provided during onboarding
- Time off requests must be discussed before assignment confirmation
- Local rates may vary and eligibility for travel pay may be affected by permanent address in certain states
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Mammography Technologist in an acute care setting
- Active state license required; pending licenses will not be accepted (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience using the Cerner EMR is preferred
- Two professional references required: one supervisor reference from the past 12 months of employment, and one supervisor or peer reference from the past 3 years
- Copy of driver's license must be provided for consideration
