Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a Perinatal Ultrasound Technologist for a weekday acute care assignment requiring 3 years of MFM experience and current RDMS-OB/GYN certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in an acute care perinatal ultrasound setting
- Position is focused on maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) cases
- Assignment involves rotating between Santa Maria and San Luis Obispo locations
- Day shifts, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Shift length is 8 hours per day
- Uses Cerner EMR system
- Candidates will be expected to secure housing within commuting distance between Santa Maria and San Luis Obispo
- Orientation includes 12 hours at the start of the assignment
- MFM experience is required for this role
- Candidates may not have been employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities in the past year unless employed PRN via outside firms
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in perinatal and MFM ultrasound
- Active BLS certification required
- Current RDMS-OB/GYN certification required
- Active state licensure required at time of consideration; pending licenses not accepted
- License required if applicable
- Experience with Cerner charting system preferred
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration
- 2 professional references required: one supervisor from the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years, including dates of employment and rehire eligibility
