Job Details

Under the general direction of the Director, Disability Resource Center, the Assistant Director is responsible for the administration of the multi-function operations of the DRC. The incumbent acts as a campus leader to promote inclusive design and practices that reduce the need for individual disability related accommodations. The Assistant Director serves as a primary resource to the campus community and manages professional staff providing student programmatic access as mandated by state and federal laws. The Assistant Director is expected to work at a high level of autonomy and exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems and challenges. The Assistant Director serves as a campus champion and expert providing analysis and recommendations on the status of functions and the emerging issues through ongoing periodic meetings and reports to campus leaders and offices.
