The Restorative Partners Mentorship Program focuses on matching volunteers in the community with adults who have a history of incarceration. Being a mentor in our program is being a companion. You could be doing things like providing emotional support, help your mentee fill out forms, help them find a job, help them find new ways to spend free time, and much more. Everyone's needs are different, but companionship and support are the foundation of our program.
The program is a one year commitment once you are matched. We ask that matches meet at least 3 times a month.
You will receive training before being matched with someone, and Restorative Partners staff will be there to support you and your mentee.
