As a Dental Care Assistant at Brident Dental, your primary focus is on patient care and enhancing the overall experience for those in our chair. Essential Functions:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain an amiable chair-side manner by prioritizing the patient's needs.
  • Be punctual, engaged, and ready to work during assigned shifts.
  • Follow instructions from the doctor and hygienist(s), assisting them with various dental procedures while anticipating their needs.
  • Take, develop, and mount accurate, high-quality radiographs.
  • Review patient charts before the doctor's arrival and log relevant patient data and health history during examinations and treatments.
  • Clean, sterilize, and prepare operatory equipment according to our established protocols prior to patient appointments.
  • Efficiently perform various procedures to help maintain the schedule and ensure smooth patient flow.
  • Educate patients about their treatment and address any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to enhance the patient experience.
  • Assist with scheduling follow-up appointments and tracking lab cases to ensure timely and high-quality service.
  • Monitor and order dental supplies as directed by the Operations Leader.
  • Promote and market services and retail products supported by Sonrava.
  • Participate in daily huddles and complete assigned checklists to maintain efficient operations.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards.
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures in alignment with OSHA and BBP regulations.
  • Complete all required training and learning management system requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma.
  • X-Ray license required.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Preferred 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Able to perform all dental assistant functions effectively.
  • Computer literate.
