The Wayfarer SLO Tapestry Collection by Hilton is looking for a General Maintenance Engineer to join our team. We are looking to cover shifts either 2-10:30 pm or 3-11:30 pm. The General Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the corrective, preventative and emergency maintenance needs of the property. Formerly The Kinney SLO, The Wayfarer San Luis Obispo is a refreshed take on an old favorite. Courageous. Curious. Inspired. Core functions of the position, but are not limited to the following; - Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests. - Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members. - Basic electrical and plumbing repairs. - Carpentry and screening. - Interior and exterior painting. - Changing locks, installing smoke alarms. - Pool maintenance. - Maintain shop and tools in clean, orderly and safe condition. - Periodically clean gutters, drain water heaters. - Provide assistance to other...Maintenance Engineer, General Maintenance, Engineer, Maintenance, Team Member
