This is a recruitment for a short-term/temporary position. This position will be a daytime custodial position. Working hours will be Tuesday through Saturday, 8 am- 4:30 pm. DEFINITION - Under general supervision, perform custodial work in college buildings and offices; and to perform other related duties as required. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS - The Custodian I class is distinguished from other classes in the Maintenance and Operations Series in that incumbents are responsible for all custodial work at the college. The Custodian class promotes institutional effectiveness by ensuring that District facilities are maintained in a safe and clean working condition for all students, faculty, staff, and the community.
