The DCPP Safety Team is responsible for ensuring safe field practices and addressing performance gaps. The team collaborates closely with power plant personnel to enhance understanding and implementation of safe work practices. The Safety Supervisor plays a key role in daily operations, supporting planning activities and outage coordination. As a people leader, the supervisor promotes adherence to all company and regulatory safety policies and procedures. Operational safety personnel investigate safety and human performance incidents, identify root causes, and develop metrics to monitor future performance. Finally, the team consistently reinforces the organization's safety culture and associated behaviors. To obtain and maintain employment, you must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen, a security background check for unescorted access to a nuclear plant, psychological screen, and be subject to random drug and alcohol screening in fulfillment of federal requirements.
