What you must have:

• Candidate shall have a BSCE degree, California Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer, plus a minimum of ten years' experience in public works design with an emphasis in transportation engineering; or the equivalent work experience of 14 years.
• Extensive experience and demonstrated engineering abilities in all aspects of roadway engineering projects. Experience in roundabout design, interchange design and/or active transportation a plus.
• Experience with Caltrans District 5 and knowledge of Caltrans processes is a plus.
• Candidate must have a minimum 5 years' project management experience.
• Interacting comfortably and productively with clients and public agencies.
