The Golden Rain Foundation (GRF) is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our organization and continue our commitment to exceptional service at Leisure World Seal Beach (LWSB).

LWSB is a nationally recognized 55+ senior community with 9,600 residents located in beautiful Seal Beach, California, where sunny days meet ocean breezes. Spread over 542 acres, Leisure World offers the charm of small-town living along with easy access to the cultural, recreational, and entertainment amenities of Los Angeles and Orange County.

About the Role

The Executive Director will be a proven leader known for building effective partnerships, engaging diverse perspectives, and navigating complex relationships with a Board of Directors, executive leadership, and a vibrant resident community.

• Develop objective, professional working relationships with all 16 Mutual Boards and the GRF Board of Directors.

• Possess sound business judgment, strong analytical skills, and operational expertise.
• Demonstrate strong skills in strategic planning, team building, resource allocation, and leadership coaching.

• Show strong conflict resolution, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Be an excellent listener, communicator, and negotiator

Education, Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible leadership in retirement community management, municipal administration, property management, or association governance.
• Executive management experience, including hiring, training, coaching, and mentoring.
• Certification through the California Association of Community Managers (CACM), or ability to obtain CACM or an equivalent recognized certification.
• Must possess a comprehensive understanding of the Davis-Stirling Common Interest Development Act, with ongoing compliance required for relevant community association operations.

GRF offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. The salary range is $176,000 to $231,462 based on qualifications and experience.
