This is an in-office position for hire at Inspired Flight's HQ in San Luis Obispo, CA.
Job Description
Inspired Flight Technologies is looking to enhance their team with the addition of an Office Administrator. The Office Administrator plays a vital role in maintaining the day-to-day operations of our office. This person will be the go-to resource for general administrative support, facility upkeep, and guest hospitality. We're seeking someone who is detail-oriented, personable, and enjoys creating a clean, well-stocked, and welcoming environment for both staff and visitors.
This role will report directly to the General Manager. This is a prime opportunity for a highly motivated and creative professional that thrives in a startup environment and is looking for career development and advancement.
Typical responsibilities:
- Manage office supply inventory: order new supplies and maintain organized storage
- Maintain tidiness and cleanliness in shared spaces including the break room, conference rooms, and front desk area
- Restock break room supplies (coffee, snacks, utensils, paper goods, etc.) and ensure all appliances are clean and functional
- Greet and check in guests and vendors; ensure visitor experience is professional and welcoming
- Coordinate office lunches or catering for meetings, events, and guest visits
- Support the General Manager in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
- Assist with setting up trainings/demos, light event planning, team celebrations, and office culture initiatives
- Coordinate distribution of packages and mail
- Serve as a point of contact for vendors and service providers related to office and facility needs
- Assist the General Manager with ad hoc tasks and administrative projects as needed
You'll excel in this role if you have:
- 1-3 years of experience in an office coordinator or front desk role
- Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Friendly, proactive, and service-oriented demeanor
- Proficiency in Google Workspace
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort lifting light items (up to 25 lbs) and being physically active throughout the day
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Associate's degree, or equivalent discipline is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
