Position Summary
The Director of Operations leads operational planning and drives company-wide alignment by translating strategy into scalable processes, systems, and routines. This role provides operational leadership and strategic insight as part of Heath's Executive Leadership Team, helping guide the company's direction and performance.
This role creates alignment across teams, systems, and planning cycles, ensuring day-to-day operations flow smoothly and are connected to long-term goals. You'll lead our planning, inventory, and data strategy while ensuring that systems, reporting, and cross-functional processes are built to support reliable, scalable, and efficient operations. As a member of Heath's Executive Leadership Team, you'll help guide the company's overall direction while keeping our operational engine strong, smart, and aligned. This role requires someone fluent in the complexities of a vertically integrated business where manufacturing, inventory, planning, retail, and e-commerce all intersect.

Work Environment, Hours, & Compensation
This is a full-time, exempt position, typically Monday through Friday with occasional weekend work for system upgrades, inventory cycles or large all-hand-on deck events. While we embrace a hybrid work model, in-person collaboration is a valued part of our culture. This role has flexibility to work from our San Francisco or Sausalito offices. Up to two remote workdays per week are available. The salary range for this position is $160,000 – $175,000, based on experience.
