Job Summary:
The Substation Site Engineer works within a multi-discipline team to develop efficient and reliable design of site, drainage, and access for Substation facilities. This engineer is accountable for developing substation site related drawings in accordance with customer scope of work and standards, industry standards and best practices, and local zoning development codes ensuring minimal cost, durability, and constructability of site. This engineer will provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to less experienced engineers within the department. This engineer will be responsible for all phases of designing sites for electrical transmission, switching, and distribution substations for the electric utility industry. Tasks may include permitting and supporting construction and establishing substation material and construction standards.

The salary range for this position is $100,000-$150,000, depending on relevant experience, education, and qualifications. We also offer semi-annual profit-sharing bonuses based on company profits to share in the mutual success!
