Associate Teacher - MAOF Child Care/Pre-School (Ventura County)

Job Summary: To provide direct care, guidance, and instruction to children at MAOF Child Care and Development Centers. To facilitate activities that promote social, physical, and intellectual growth, aligned with children's developmental stages.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid Associate Teacher Permit from CCTC.
  • Preferred: One year of classroom paid or volunteer experience in preschool/childcare.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written.
  • Ability to relate to diverse groups, including low-income families.
  • Confidentiality, sensitivity, and commitment to community service.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.

Special Qualifications:

  • Pre-employment physical, drug screening, TB clearance.
  • Vaccination records for Pertussis, Measles, and optional Influenza.
  • Fingerprint clearance through DOJ and FBI.
  • Own vehicle, valid California Driver's License, and insurance.
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or exemption.
