Job Description:

The Director of Finance for Services Operations will act as the primary liaison between Uniphore's Global Services & Delivery (GSD) team and the Chief Financial Officer. The main objectives of this role are to drive growth in Live Annual Recurring Revenue (LARR) and cash collections. Key responsibilities include forecasting LARR and cash collections, tracking their progress and taking proactive measures to address and resolve any challenges that may hinder LARR growth and collections.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead initiatives to streamline processes and reduce the order-to-cash cycle time. Provide financial guidance to the Revenue Operations, GSD and other cross-functional teams on operational improvements to automate and optimize processes.

  • Review customer contracts to ensure compliance with company policies, including profit margins and securing approvals for non-standard terms. Introduce and suggest workable solutions to contract negotiations.

  • Ensure that the Global Services & Delivery (GSD) teams have the necessary contractual details to ensure project success.

  • Continuously track project progress, addressing any obstacles to success. When necessary, collaborate with GSD members and/or customers to understand the situation, propose solutions to management (including CFO and Chief Customer Officer), and assist in negotiating and drafting change requests or amendments.

  • Serve as the liaison between GSD and revenue accounting, advising revenue accounting on project status, collectability probability, revenue recognition and invoicing timelines.

  • Oversee the preparation of LARR and cash collection forecasts for the executive team, coordinating with sales and GSD leadership while assessing project progress and customer sentiment.

  • Manage cash collection efforts and present various reports on cash collections to executive leadership.

  • Review contracts for commission eligibility, ensuring compliance with commission requirements, and validate commission calculations.

  • Support the implementation of automation in the contract renewal process, ensuring timely contract renewals. Monitor renewals to address any potential cancellations and involve the relevant stakeholders to retain the customer. Provide reporting to the executive leadership on potential customer cancellations.

  • Prepare executive and board-level reports on CARR, LARR, churn, project status, and cash collections.

Experience/Skills Required:

  • 7+ years total experience in finance, accounting and/or operations with a financial focus

  • Hi-Tech, SaaS or related industry experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Prior management experience is required

  • Strong communication, organization and partnering skills are a must
