THE PENNY ICE CREAMERY | Made From Scratch

As an Ice Cream Scooper, you will be creating a fun and memorable experience for our guests by scooping ice cream, making ice cream sundaes and milkshakes, and various novelty items. You will also make coffee and tea drinks (proudly serving Verve Coffee!) and toast our famous marshmallow fluff.

We operate four Penny Ice Creamery locations in Santa Cruz County: Downtown Santa Cruz, Pleasure Point, Aptos Village, and Scotts Valley.

Requirements

• Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work independently/unsupervised.
• Reliable availability during weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Availability to work 20 hours a week on a consistent basis.
• Preference for candidates with food service experience, though training will be provided for the right person.
• Must be available to work through Summer 2025.
