The Electrical Engineering Department within the College of Engineering at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA is seeking to hire four full-time Lecturers beginning September 16, 2024. Primary duties will be to teach undergraduate Electrical and Computer Engineering courses in areas such as Digital and Computer Design, Electric Circuit Analysis, Electronic Design, Control Systems, Communication Systems, Power Systems, and Signal Processing.

Qualifications

• A Master of Science in electronic, electrical, computer science, or computer engineering (or B.S. with industrial experience) is required for lecture and lab courses.
• Experience and commitment to student-centered learning, collaborative work in multidisciplinary settings, and proficiency in English are required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. in relevant fields and evidence of teaching excellence preferred.
• Experience working with diverse populations and fostering inclusive environments is desirable.

Additional Information

Salary depends on experience and educational background, with ranges for Lecturer A through D. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusion, and be willing to undergo background checks. Cal Poly is a smoke-free campus and adheres to CSU policies on out-of-state employment.
