SCOPE OF POSITION:
The Territorial Volunteer Engagement Director will develop and implement an integrated volunteer engagement strategy for The Salvation Army's USA Western Territory. This role will collaborate across departments to refine systems, policies, training, and resources that professionalize the volunteer engagement staff and enhance the volunteer experience. The Director will be responsible for staying ahead of engagement trends, leading the transition to new volunteer management software, and strengthening volunteer engagement as a key part of community relations and development. This position will also provide support and resources to the field related to Advisory Organization engagement. This position is based onsite in Rancho Palos Verdes, with eligibility for a hybrid (2 days remote) schedule after an initial onboarding period.
