About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP/SVP/Head of Business Development to play a pivotal role in driving the organization's growth. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and implementing a comprehensive business development strategy, with a focus on sourcing, pitching, nurturing, and closing strategic partnerships, particularly with health systems. This individual will be responsible for the entire business development process, from identifying and evaluating potential growth opportunities to managing the deal funnel and working closely with the CEO to develop and execute global and micro-strategies. The role also involves market expansion, relationship building, and staying abreast of industry trends to capitalize on new opportunities.
Applicants for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred, and at least 10 years' of proven experience in business development, particularly in closing strategic partnerships with health systems. A background in home health or hospice is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare market dynamics, excellent negotiation and contract management skills, and a verifiable track record of driving revenue growth. Strong analytical, financial, communication, and presentation skills are essential, as is a self-motivated, results-oriented approach and an entrepreneurial mindset. The role requires the ability to build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and a passion for innovation in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
