Job Summary

The business process analyst ensures that the data workflows are well-defined, optimized, and effectively communicated across teams. They will develop comprehensive process documentation, training materials, testing plans, and configuration guides, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards.

This is a full-time temporary position through November 30, 2026 and is eligible for full benefits, including medical, dental, vision and CalPERS retirement.

Key Qualifications

  • Develop and maintain clear, detailed documentation of business processes, interpreting and applying complex procedures and regulations and ensuring they are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible for all stakeholders.
  • Create user-friendly training materials and conduct training sessions for teams on systems, tools, and processes. Ensure team members are proficient in best practices for managing and utilizing data.
  • Design and execute testing plans to verify the accuracy and functionality of systems, ensuring the correct implementation of business processes. Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the testing phase.
  • Write and maintain detailed configuration guides for systems and processes, ensuring they align with business requirements and are optimized for efficiency.

Education And Experience

  • Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university. Three years of technical or administrative experience. A graduate degree in a related field may be substituted for one year of the required experience. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Salary And Benefits

Anticipated Hiring Range: $65,000 - $85,000
Classification Range: $55,176 - $99,816 Per Year
