We are seeking an experienced Government Subcontracts Administrator to manage and oversee all aspects of government-related subcontracts in the aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with government regulations, manage subcontractor relationships, and provide support throughout the contract lifecycle, from negotiation through to contract completion.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer subcontracts, including negotiation, compliance monitoring, and management of subcontractor performance.
  • Ensure all subcontracts adhere to government regulations such as FAR/DFARS, as well as company policies.
  • Participate in contract negotiations with subcontractors, defining deliverables, terms of payment, deadlines, and performance criteria.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with subcontractors.
  • Maintain detailed records of subcontract activities, costs, communications, and changes, and prepare status reports for internal teams and government customers.
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, and procurement teams to ensure smooth execution and resolution of any contract-related issues.
  • Evaluate and select subcontractors based on technical and financial requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits and reviews to ensure compliance with governmental and contractual obligations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, contract management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong knowledge of government regulations, including FAR/DFARS.
  • Proven experience in subcontract administration, particularly in the aerospace industry.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with government contracting.
  • Knowledge of risk management principles.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and tools.


Pay range for this role

$70,000 - $140,000 USD
