Job Role: Digital Communication System Technician Location: Los Angeles, CA (90063) Duration: 12 Months Contract Is this role located on-site, hybrid, or remote?: Onsite Is a Livescan Required for Position?: No Candidate should clear the following background checks for at least the past 7 years: Employment History – Verification of past employment records. Educational Background – Validation of academic credentials. Criminal/Felony – Check for any criminal records. SSN – Social Security Number (SSN) verification. Skills Preferred: Technician must be able to pull voice and data cables as well as terminations, and to perform programming changes for NEC & Nortel PBX, Meridian Key systems, CIsco call manager, MS-teams, Cisco gateways, Zoom and Cisco Webex. Experience Preferred: As a Field technician, All DCST technicians are expected to travel from site to site to perform your work. Out 8 hour day 25% of our time we spend it driving from site to site, places where we are going to be servicing our customers. A technician must have four years of telefony experience in the installation, configuration, testing, maintenance, and repair of digital telephone private branch exchange (PBX) and key switching systems. Installs, configures, tests, maintains, and repairs digital and Internet based communications systems, infrastructure, and equipment, including servers supporting applications such as voicemail, call recording, automated telephone attendants, and interactive voice response. Installs, programs, tests, maintains, and repairs private branch exchange (PBX) and key telephone switching systems, and related equipment. Provides technical support for telephone moves, additions, and changes. Education Preferred: College or Technical Trade School certification will be a plus.
