An exciting position has just opened in this growing hospital for a progressive ARRT Director of Hospital Imaging Operations. Join this beautiful, state of the art hospital in Southern California and lead a highly-skilled team of imaging professionals.

This short term acute care medical center in Southern California is actively searching for an exceptional Director of Imaging Operations to lead its Radiology Department. This 300-bed hospital, made up of multiple campuses, has been a staple in the community over its 50+ years. Centered around its most acute services is a full host of community health services including Primary Care, a great Family Birthing Center, Oncology Care, and a highly-rated Orthopedics program.

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the Radiology and Imaging Operations Director will also take a strong role in developing talent within this busy department. You will actively manage a team of 30+ FTEs made up of one Radiology Manager, Imaging Supervisors, and Rad Techs experienced in all of the applicable modalities.

This Radiology and Imaging Department is certified for multiple modalities including Mammography, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine (PET), so clinical experience will play a large part in allowing the staff to grow and learn. The ARRT Radiology and Imaging Director will also have operational oversight of the scheduling and billing office for radiology, so administration experience would certainly come in handy.
