Quality Assurance TechnicianAre you Quality Assurance Technician who is looking for a great opportunity in San Luis Obispo?Company Overview:ESAero is a growing aerospace company in the San Luis Obispo area and provides services which include but are not limited to rapid system development, on-demand niche engineering, hands-on development/testing, and small UAS aerospace system manufacturing. Job Summary: Empirical Systems Aerospace, Inc. is seeking a full-time Quality Technician for our Quality Team to support the quality requirements of incoming and outgoing material and products. Responsibilities and Duties: Perform inspections of materials, purchased parts, and internally made parts.Document all inspections results using visual, dimensional methods and standards on company documentation forms.Review specifications and drawings to understand the product requirements.Reject incoming materials that fail to meet quality expectations and report the issue to the concerned department. Communicate and help resolve quality-related issues while adhering to project deadlines.Assist in developing inspection standards and processes.Assist with the coordination of calibrated equipment.Recommend improvement measures to processes to ensure quality control standards are met.Generate Nonconformance Reports or Corrective Actions when required.Assist with updates to the Quality Management System and participate in internal and external audits.Work with multiple departments to support production and increase awareness of quality requirements.Basic Qualifications/Requirements: US Citizen Proficiency and experience with measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators Technical hands-on capability with attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings 3+ years of experience Desired Skills/Experience: ISO 9001/AS 9100D J-STD-001 and/or WHMA/IPC-A-620Machining experience Experience with composites fabrication Experience with aircraft avionics Technical Writing: Build guides, schematics, wiring diagrams, reporting/reviewing, etc.Experience with parts and inventory management Benefits and PerksHealth/Dental/Vision/Life InsurancePTOPaid Holidays (9) Retirement: 401k w/company match Casual dress code, Free snacks Amazing location to live, work, and playESAero is an equal opportunity employer.
