POSITION SUMMARY:
The position involves leadership over the plant maintenance and biomedical engineering departments at Tenet Health Central Coast Market, focusing on planning and program development to meet hospital needs. This role emphasizes leadership in the tenets of people, service, finance, quality, and growth, overseeing administration (Growth), clinical (Service and Quality), financial (Cost), and human resources (People). As the head of the Plant Operations Department, the responsibilities include managing hospital buildings, clinics, and ensuring 24/7 quality service. Compliance with TJC, CMS, and AHJs standards, along with corporate policies and regulations, is crucial. Additionally, the position entails promoting teamwork, maintaining customer satisfaction, and efficient resource management. The role extends to providing direction for Plant Operations, Central Plant, and building systems, overseeing budgets, aiding in facility planning, and maintaining preventive maintenance programs. This leader also coordinates utility sources, manages Life Support systems, and ensures compliance with NFPA, Life Safety Codes, TJC, CMS, and safety requirements, including staff training.
