Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing CNC programs for various machining processes, ensuring precision and efficiency in production. This role requires a deep understanding of advanced CNC technologies and the ability to solve complex machining problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for precision machining processes.
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including 5-axis mills.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to create efficient machining strategies.
- Utilize CAD/CAM software, including Hypermill, to design and produce tooling and fixtures.
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure that finished products meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve programming and machining issues as they arise.
- Train and mentor junior programmers and machinists on best practices and techniques.
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer with a focus on precision machining.
- Strong proficiency in CAD/CAM software, especially in 5-axis CAM software like Hypermill.
- Extensive knowledge of various CNC machine types and controls.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
