Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Electrical Systems Drafting Technician at Gray Electrical Consulting + Engineering, Corp in Santa Maria, CA. The role will involve creating technical drawings, communicating effectively, working with architectural drawings, and collaborating with civil engineering teams.

Qualifications

• AutoCAD proficiency
• Ability & willingness to work both independently & collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability & willingness to learn new computer programs required for job execution.
• Implement drafting of written & verbal instructions, including engineer mark-ups and sketches, in AutoCAD with a high degree of accuracy, according to company and industry standards.
• Work with project manager and project engineer to develop electrical design deliverables including single line diagram, lighting and controls design, power systems design, and device schedules.
