Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Behavioral Health Discipline: RN Duration: 30 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Behavioral Health Care Clinical Reviewer REMOTE OPPORTUNITY Can live anywhere within the state of Illinois JOB DESCRIPTION • Assisting members via live calls on a call queue. • Reviewing medical records and behavioral health cases, including those requiring contract interpretation. • Applying medical necessity criteria for all levels of behavioral health care, from outpatient visits to acute inpatient care. JOB REQUIREMENTS • Active, current Registered Nurse (RN) license (OR) o Masters-level Behavioral Health Professional license (LSW or LCSW OR LPC OR LCPC OR LMFT) at the independent practice level • 3 years clinical experience in psychiatric setting or own behavioral health practice • Proficient with Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook etc.) PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS • Utilization review experience Walker HealthForce Job ID 134269.
