Job Description:

PMCS Group is seeking an experienced Construction Scheduler to oversee program scheduling for construction projects in partnership with the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional with expertise in Primavera, construction scheduling, and public works projects. If you're organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing schedules for large-scale projects, we'd love to have you on our team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5 years of full-time paid professional experience in Scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor, preferably on multiple educational facilities or public works projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management from a recognized university.
• OR a bachelor's degree in any field with 2 additional years of Construction Scheduling experience.
• Proficiency in Primavera (latest version) and MS Office Suite.
• Experience with Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build project delivery methods.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with project teams and department staff.
• Superior organizational and planning skills.
• Construction scheduling experience is mandatory – experience in other industries (e.g., gas/energy, manufacturing/production) does not qualify.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain program schedules, identifying relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints for various construction projects.
• Monitor and actively participate in scheduling issues, applying best practices and standards.
• Obtain accurate and timely schedule updates from project teams and perform QA/QC on data received.
• Create and develop conceptual "what-if" schedules for large-scale, multi-year projects.
• Perform Critical Path and Earned Value analyses.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses as directed by management.
