Lab Tech Cleaner I

Schedule: Standard Office Hours (Willingness to work night shifts and weekends as needed).

Duration: 5-months

Pay Range: $18-23/hr, depending on experience



Job Summary:

This role adheres to strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards and contributes to maintaining a sterile and compliant workspace. Reporting to the Manufacturing Team Leader, the Cleaning Employee ensures hygienic conditions are met, follows procedures meticulously, and completes all required documentation accurately.



Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning operations in a sterile environment following detailed protocols and supervisor instructions.
• Maintain inventory and organization of sterile and non-sterile protective garments for locker rooms.
• Ensure precise and complete documentation, signing records as required.
• Participate in training programs in compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Monitor cleaning product inventory to ensure adequate stock is available.
• Collaborate with other departments as needed.
• Work safely and effectively, adhering to company safety regulations.
• Undertake additional tasks as requested.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Knowledge/Experience:

• Ability to follow cleanroom protocols, including strict adherence to GMP standards.
• Comfortable working in a sterile environment where hazardous and biological waste is managed.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding English-language documentation (e.g., SOPs and safety policies).
• Flexible to work night shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
• Previous cleaning experience in a cleanroom or cGMP environment (preferred).
• Physically capable of wearing protective gear, such as goggles, face shields, and gloves, throughout shifts.
