Unit Notes No first time travelers - Unit: L&D/PP - # L&D Beds: 9 L&D beds - # triage beds: 0 triage beds - # Postpartum beds: 4 postpartum beds - # births per day, per year: 55 births per month - Certs: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN - Ratios: they follow AWOHNN guidelines - FHM System: fetal link - EMR: Cerner -C-section experience required: must be able to circulate for csections - Floating: float between PP and L&D, candidates have to have experience with both - Floor specific orientation: 3 shifts - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: 34 weeks and above, high risk deliveries, birth plans are very important and followed by most of patient population - Additional Notes: 2 years' experience in L&D/PP required, travel experience is preferred.
