We are looking for an experienced Construction Laborer who will key member of the construction services crew that will build Water and Wastewater Treatment plants.

The Laborer must be located in the Bakersfield, CA area and must be willing to travel throughout the State of California for future projects.

Requirements

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare construction site daily with correct materials, tools, and equipment
• Perform general construction activities while learning various trade skills
• Operate various hand tools including: shovels, powered hand compactors, saws, drills, etc.
• Dig trenches to desired or required depths, by hand or using trenching tools.
• Complete all activities in a safe and efficient manner

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year of heavy civil construction experience preferred
• Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Attention and commitment to safety, ability to follow instructions.
• Able to work outside independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation to get to and from the jobsite
• Able to pass a drug test

Wage range: $20-$30 / hour
