Overview:

We are located in southern California and we're looking for an experienced Production Artist to join our team full-time. This position requires a deep understanding of both digital and print production processes. In this role, you will work on designs during the final stages of development and prepare files for print and digital executions.


Responsibilities:

  • Build and finalize designs from approved creative comps ensuring layouts are built to the correct specs for print and/or digital formats
  • Apply your design skills and work closely with a team of senior art directors and designers
  • Follow set production standards and job specifications to ensure jobs are produced accurately
  • Responsibilities also include retouching, designing and building presentation decks, printing, mounting prints, creating mock-ups and helping out where needed


Qualifications and Required Skills:

  • Must be able to work in the office daily
  • High School diploma. Certificate, AA, or BA a plus but not required
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a production artist or production designer
  • Experience proofing, pre-flighting, and preparing press ready files
  • Experience designing and building decks in Keynote, PowerPoint and Google Slides
  • Basic Office skills using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proficient in Adobe software products (primarily InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD)
  • Must have an eye for design, exemplary attention to detail, solid communication skills, and a strong work ethic

  • This is an exempt, full-time position
  • On-site position: Must be open to reporting on-site, Monday-Friday
