Description:

As the Resort Concierge, you are a customer-service oriented individual who is dedicated to representing the hotel with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a businesslike demeanor to all hotel guests, clients, agents, and the community.You serve as the main guest contact for seasonal resort activitiesand services.During the peak season, you are responsible for all beach amenity set up/tear down and coordinating resort activities.Support as the Guest Service Agent as assigned.

Responsibilities of the Ideal Candidate:

  • Must have thorough knowledge of the property, local functions, guest rooms, package options, and amenities of the property.
  • Accommodate all guest requests expediently and courteously. Follow up with designated hotel personnel to ensure completion of requests
  • Set up and tear down beach rental amenities for guests (chairs, umbrellas, blankets, etc)
  • Lift and carry at items from hotel with beach wagon on boardwalk to beach.
  • Coordinate guest requests with front office team.
  • Answer inbound text messages and phone calls and check voicemail/box on a regular, timely basis (working hours only)
  • Email or otherwise communicate relevant information to other departments within the hotel.
  • Maintain front office and lobby organization and supplies to provide a clean and enjoyable experience.
  • Uphold friendly, courteous telephone service and interactions with guests and fellow employees.
  • Coordinate with guests prior to arrival and through to their departure by means of reservations, wake up calls, check-in, check-out, routing needs, posting charges, and special requests.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of any and all company information, including but not limited to: performance statistics, agreements with clients, prospective business, and financial information.
  • Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures throughout the execution of tasks and responsibilities, including maintaining excellent customer service and efficient operations.
  • Follow 4 Keys service standards, standard operation procedures, and safety standards.
  • Follow all appropriate policies and procedure while constantly striving to improve all standards of operations.
  • Follow safety and security procedures.
  • Work cohesively with co-workers and all departments as part of a team.
  • Adhere to attendance and reliability standards.
  • Follow all additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Following safety procedures as your role is defined.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.


Pay at $20.00 per hour.

Experience and Education:

  • At least 1 year of Hospitality Related Experience


Physical Requirements:

The minimum physical requirements for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds frequently to assist guests including indoor and outdoor on the beach
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to hear, understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff, vendors and guests a normal in-person and phone conversation
  • Ability to bend and twist, push and pull, stoop, and kneel
  • Ascend and descend a ladder
