Bureau Veritas is looking for an

**ENVIRONMENTAL LABORATORY SAMPLE RECEIVER**

**This is a Full-Time position with Medical Benefits and Retirement Savings Plan**

**As** **a SAMPLE RECEIVER, your responsibilities** **are:**

Responsible for receiving environmental samples from clients and couriers, unpacking, inspecting and labeling samples.

* Follow Standard Operating Procedures.

* Greet Clients and Receive Samples

* Unpacking sample coolers and inspection of samples.

* Log samples into the Laboratory Information Management System

* Label Samples

* Inspect Jobs

* Distribute samples to the Lab

* Help with Archiving

* Other duties as required

Availability for shift work, OT and weekend work required

**You are an ideal SAMPLE RECEIVER if you have [Minimum Requirements]:**

* You have a post-secondary school education (B.Sc. preferred).

* You have knowledge of standard operating procedures and instrumental techniques.

* You have good time-management, communication, multi-tasking and priority setting skills.

* You have the ability to do repetitive tasks with few errors.

* You have the ability to block out distractions and work under busy, stressful conditions.

* You can maintain a high level of work production in a fast paced lab environment.
