Food Services ** Receiver**

Key Areas of Collaboration and Influence
Verify and keep accurate records on incoming orders.
Receives, lifts, moves, stores, issues, counts, sorts, weighs and verifies items on requisitions or invoices.
Receives and processes a wider variety of incoming freight, including produce, meats, dairy, dry goods, chemicals, and other materials on a daily basis and according to priority.
Compares incoming products to bills of invoices, orders, or other records to verify information.
Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with vendors to rectify damages and shortages.
Orders Products using Net menu Platform and rotates stock to ensure freshness.
Prepares product for distribution, including transportation and storage.
Returns damaged items or other items to vendors that do not meet our specifications.
Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of storage areas by sweeping and mopping.
Complies with all HACCP/OSHA, and/ or local policies and procedures related to all assigned work.
Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.
Drive company van and make deliveries.
Build relationships with delivery vendors.

Produce, Meat, and Seafood product knowledge.
Job requires knowledge of MSDS and correct chemical handling.
Assist other team member staff as required.
Current Food Handler card or ability to be certified immediately after hire.
Must have current Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Report.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Work up to 8 hours a day on your feet, excluding breaks.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs.
Come to work properly dressed according to the dress code.
Employee must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods. Ability to remove garbage to dumpster areas.
Proper lifting skills when handling stock.
Ability to load and push a cart long distances.
