Shift Type All Job Type Seasonal/Sessional Date Posted By 5/31/2021 Date Posting Closes 12/31/2021 Time Posting Closes: 5:00 p.m. Category Facility Services Career Level Entry Level Education Some High School Salary Payband/Range $14.56 - $15.45 Job Description Responsible for cleaning and general housekeeping of town facilities, facility set up and tear down for user groups and events;, building cleanliness, garbage removal, washroom maintenance. Provides assistance and customer service to general public and user groups.

Job Requirements 1. Practical working knowledge of health and safety regulations and trained in WHIMIS procedures to deal with equipment, cleaning chemicals and facility maintenance.

2. Janitorial knowledge and the ability to operate cleaning equipment (vacuums, floor waxers, scrubbers, cleaning chemicals etc.).

3. Ability to read and comprehend WHIMIS labels, complete logs and incident reports.

4. Current First Aid and CPR training would be an asset.

5. Flexibility/availability for shift work, weekends and evenings.

6. Flexibility/availability for special events as required.

7. Ability to deal courteously and effectively with user groups, general public, program participants.
