West Valley Community Services (WVCS)* is looking for 1 or 2 volunteers to assist with Wednesday morning grocery pickup. This shift is from approximately 9 am-10 am. Volunteers must be 21 years of age or older and hold a valid Driver's License. Volunteers would drive our company van to pick up the donations.

This is a great way to start your day and give back to the community! WVCS has wonderful relationships with local grocery stores to provide clients with fresh produce and bread, things that many typical food pantries cannot provide. In order to provide these goods to clients, we look for volunteers to help us pick up these donated groceries and bring them into the food pantry.

**About West Valley Community Services:**West Valley Community Services, Inc. is a non-profit, community-based agency that has been providing direct assistance and referral services to the west valley communities of Santa Clara County for over 45 years. Founded in 1973, West Valley Community Services provides a continuum of basic needs, including an in-house and mobile food pantry, homeless support, affordable housing, emergency financial assistance, family support, referrals, education, and case management. West Valley Community Services serves homeless and low-income individuals and families in the west valley communities of Cupertino, Saratoga, West San Jose, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, and the surrounding mountain regions.

**HOURS OF OPERATION:**

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: 8 am to 12 pm, 1 pm to 5 pm

Saturday and Sunday: Closed

**REQUIREMENTS**

* Driver's License Needed

* Must be at least 21

* Orientation or Training

* 8-week minimum commitment please!
