**Group Description**

****Key Responsibilities****

- Perform daily checks on forklift & reach trucks and refuel / plug in for recharge if required

- Unload delivery trucks, receive and check and audit all incoming materials

- Ensure quantity and description of incoming materials matches packing slips, min/max order sheets, purchase orders and expected daily releases and sign off were appropriate

- Notify any person or department of goods that are urgently anticipated upon receipt

- Put away incoming parts from our Manufacturing Plants or suppliers to their respective home location

- Ensure that all received goods from our Manufacturing Plant are scanned in and processed into the MRP system

- Ensure that all chemicals received are accompanied with MSDS

- Customer Orders: Pick, prepare, load and audit all shipments. Print paperwork and send the ASN (advanced shipping notice) within the specified time frame. Send any applicable EDI interface as required by respective customers

- Non-Customer orders: Ensure that all documentation for the shipments are available prior to the shipment. Prepare and load shipment and have the driver sign where appropriate.

- Prepare and scan or prepare shippers for shipments, load truck.

- Comply, enforce and empower all Shippers and Shipping Material Handlers on all first in/first out (FIFO) inventory principles plant wide.

- Prepare daily min/max order sheets.

- Effectively lead Shipping Material Handlers in all aspects of Material Flow within the plant, supporting shipping, materials and production work cells.

- Maintain home locations, including MIN/MAX labels for all racking and store locations for all material.

- Sort and maintain returnable for daily production use.

- Complete accurate cycle counts of finished goods inventory and have inventory control plant wide.

- Ensure compliance to QMS, EMS, and CTPAT security (PIP) requirements.

- May be required to carry out job duties and responsibilities in a work environment that may include, but is not limited to, varying levels of noise and/or temperature.

- Any other reasonable duties as requested by Management

****Key Qualifications/Requirements****

* Secondary School Diploma, or equivalent

* Minimum 3 years experience in Material Handling, Shipping and Receiving in an automotive environment

* Must have valid forklift certificate (Counterbalance and Reach)

* Must be able to multi task in a fast passed environment.

* Experience of transmitting ASNs (advanced shipping notice and as required EDI communications.

* Well-developed communication, organizational, interpersonal and analytical abilities

* Sound computer skills, including knowledge of TRANS4M/Customer Websites.

* Understanding of lean manufacturing, an asset
